Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful place in the world. The Amalfi Coast is the south side of Sorrentine Peninsula wich in the north closes the Gulf of Salerno.
The most famous town on Amalfi Coast are Positano, Amalfi, Ravello. But there is also several little charming towns like as Atrani, Cetara, Scala, Maioi, Minori and Conca dei Marini, little town to discover.

Positano is called “the vertical town”: the colourful houses are one on the top of the other, and the view from the sea look like a nativy scene. Positano is also famous to do shopping. “Moda Positano” means hand made clothes: beachwar, wonan’s bikini suites, weeding dresses. Positano style is casual and elegant in the same time. You can discover it in a lot of boutiques on the narrows streets of Positano.
Amalfi in the past was one of maritime power, always in fight with another town. Now is a quiete place where the historic memory intertwines with a breathtaking natural beauty. Suspend between the slopes of Monti Lattari and the sea, Amalfi today host tourist from every corner of the world. In the main square of Amalfi you can visit the Duomo, a big church with a scenic position on the top of steep stairs. For your shopping time we suggest you to buy some “paper of Amalfi”. The paper-markers of Amalfi are the oldest in Europe: it’s still handmake and used for the important events like as a wedding.
Going up on the coast you’ll find Ravello, a little city with a astonishing views of the sea.
Ravello was an important trade town in the Renaissance, now is famous for it’s famous for it’s tranquil and serene atmosphere. You can discover the old history of Ravello visiting Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, both immersed in a mediterranean garden with rare plants. Each summer in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone is organaized the Ravello Festival with Wagner’s music. In fatc, the Parsifal, the famous opera of garden, it was ispirated from the gardens of Ravello.
Last but no least, if you like ceramic you can’t miss the town of Vietri sul Mare, known as the capital of southern Italy's handcrafted ceramics industry.
A breathtaking beauty you can discover in a trip along the narrow road from Sorrento to Amalfi.
It’s one hour and half from Sorrento to Amalfi; half hour from Sorrento to Positano.
Reach Amalfi Coast from Sorrento is very easy.
By public transport you can catch a bus of SITA autobus. Click here from the schedule time. But the best way to discover Amalfi Coast is a private driver. In this way you can relax yourself, enjoy the overview from the road and don’t spend time to wait autobus. We can’t suggest you to rent a car: the road is narrow and can be dangerous if you are not a expert driver.
